Situated by the historic Kent village of Sutton Valence with its Norman keep, Chart Hill Cottage is set high on the Greensand Way escarpment with magnificent views over the famous Weald of Kent. Surrounded by fruit orchards and farmland, the Cottage has a history dating back to the 1780s and is a fine example of a Kentish weatherboarded house, typical of the region.

Having moved from London in 2007, we have been busy sympathetically renovating the Cottage to bring it into the 21st century without losing any of its lovely character. Chart Hill Cottage offers luxury, contemporary bed and breakfast accommodation in picturesque surroundings, providing you with an opportunity to unwind and explore the Kent countryside and we are very pleased to announce that in addition to our four star rating, Chart Hill Cottage Bed & Breakfast has been awarded a Gold Award from the British Tourist Board.

Centrally located for visiting the many historic castles, gardens, towns, villages and coastal areas of Kent and East Sussex , Chart Hill Cottage Bed & Breakfast is ideal as a touring base and also a romantic getaway. Leeds Castle is ten minutes away, whilst Canterbury, Sissinghurst, Great Dixter and Bodiam Castle, to mention a few, are a leisurely drive. Romney Marsh, the coast at Hythe, atmospheric Dungeness and the expansive Camber Sands can be reached within the hour. Ashford International, the Channel Tunnel, Dover and Folkestone are readily accessible.
